Hi, lneely

Do you read The Holy bible?

what's your favorite Story in the Bible?

Your favorite scriptures?

Do you talk to the Lord everyday?

Does he touch you?

Do you go to church and learn about him and the Bible?

Do you love him?

:D Thank-you

God Bless

Hi,

My favourite story in the bible is Genesis, but only the opening few lines. I like the way that they are phrased. However, I don't believe any of it, unfortunately. I used to talk to the 'lord', but I do not anymore because I do not believe in His existence. The problem in my country is that the very people who are supposed to promote and preach religion were recently implicated in an innumerable amount of child sex abuse claims. It resulted in the Pope apologising on our behalf.

Omg Kevin, on that note, have you seen the film " Song for a Ragged Boy" ?

It's absolutely shocking. If i had known it contained those scenes, I wouldn't have watched it. It stressed me out a lot knowing it was based on true events. Horrible.

No, I have not - I have never heard of it but I can see through Google what it is about. You knoew what's really weird too? - When I use the Irish version of Google, I only get 1 hit for the film title! When I use the US version of Google, I get 2740. I have a feeling that it was censored here or something.

That was my favourite bit too, but I prefered the specific part where He gave everyone the bread and fish. There's just something really warm and wholesome about bread, and the wine kind of makes you feel thirsty. Wine and bread... ...and cheese - what more could a guy/gal want?

I preffer the part where Jesus stopped the crowed who was throwing stones to a woman.

And, no I don´t pray because I don´t believe in the existence of any god.

I was just going to mention that too (that I do not believe in God). However, if you look closely at a religion, it describes a way of living life that is peaceful. It also teaches you to be helpful to others. I am not saying that I learned to be nice by reading the Bible, but the stories/parables in the Bible are good indicators of how to be nice to others.

Are you referring to Jesuschrist. I don´t believe he was a god. He was a wonderful person such as Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Chrisna Murtis....nothing else. It´s only my opinion.

No, I am not referring to Jesus specifically. I was just saying that the stories/parables in the Bible teach us how to be nice. The Ten Commandments are good too, don;t you agree?
