Feeling grateful to all the forums that were a virtual safe place to me over the years. A weekend of nostalgia.

I feel like things are complicated in my country at the moment, I don't recall ever being this careful when it comes to what I say, and there is a lot of tension and protests in the neighboring countries. Part of it is probably the effect of the global events, and also the fact there are many different ethnicities living in my country. I want to think we learned something from the past and there won't ever be a war again in the region (or anywhere  ).

Politics aside, I feel like I need to be better at the way I live and communicate and deal with issues.

I had a great weekend away, was able to ground and get in some beach time which helped me relax and rejuvenate. Unfortunately for me I have had to return home to a world that is not suited to people with a mental health battle.

Primarily because there are others who rely on me being stronger and better than I currently am. This just adds to the pain and difficulties I face on a daily basis. My parents both have debilitating health problems. My mother can barely walk some days and my father is getting more and more unstable with his movements.

My physical problems have in fact caused me to have a relapse in my poor mental health, thanks to 1 bad medication which has left me even more broken than I was last time here!

This morning I feel a little lost, I had a bit of a down evening last night but I slept well thanks to some warm milk and meditation. To be honest I even slept in which is also a good thing as I must have needed it.

I am still experiencing some mood swings and times when I am not feeling myself (thanks to the side effects from a drug that I was on for a long time). I think that I need to go to the gym this morning and get some good energy flowing as this will assist my mood and make things better.

The week was stressful but weekend is okay. Sleepy and thinking about plans for this year.
