The first link doesn't seem to be working for me.

On the second one, how can I listen to the station I want? I'm trying to hear "Ask Deanna!" but can't get it going. :?

Hey Incorrigible, sorry about the first link. What message did you get.

There is two ways to listen to the radio station

You can download the free destiny media player, where you can tune in a and listen to all the stations broadcasting.

Or. you can click on the webstream link next to "Ask Deanna" and you get webstreaming.

I think Deanna's is down for today. The webstream is in mono so its not too good. But the free media player is pretty cool.

Hi there. On the first link it just keeps timing out.

Yea, the Deanna one wont connect no matter what. I'll try the download and see about the other stations though. Thanks for the tip! :D

Hey Incorrigable,

if you download the destiny media player, try bedouin cafe' again and see if it's working through the player.

I sometimes get it to work and sometimes not.

thanks :D

Yeh, the first link times-out, but the second link is fine. however, the files they are trying to play are 'rdl' files, which I have never heard of before (and I'm not goingto download a whole new player just for them!). Why aren't they available in the typical formats such as rm, wma, mp3, etc?

Yeh it would be good it there were standard files.

The player is free which helps. I guess its because they are all pirate radio stations, and the website pays for the bandwith so it limits the files to the destiny media player.

Give it go anyway.

Well, I downloaded the player. It's not too shabby once you figure it out.

The bedouin cafe' keeps getting a lost connection. Same with Ask Deanna! I'm listening to a station from Yorkshire, England. It's actually not to shabby. Yorkshire produces some really gorgeous glamour models.

I never heard 'Del Amitri - Move Away Jimmy Blue' before. This outta be a good way to discover new songs. Is there a setting on the player to see what the actual song being played is called?

Yeh the player's not bad. I tried to see if it shows you the songs being played but it doesn't seem too.

down the bottom of the player on the left is the stations own web address and email. The web address might give you a list of what their playlist is.

You could always email and ask for what they played and when.

I can get Bedouin Cafe' "receiving stereo transmission" on my player, but not their website. Nice chill sounds. I think Deanna is off the air maybe.

anyway I agree and think it's a good way of discovering new music.
