What are you thinking right now?

No, I'm in the Republic. I will have to set up a bank account when I go over to the UK and then instruct my bank here to transfer all of my money across. I'm going go lose out quite a bit with the exchange rate, but what can I do really. Any recomendations for banks over there? I have earmarked HSBc, RBS, and Abbey/Santander as my first three choices. Im a student too, if that helps.
