2 of these are one of my favorite birds.

I want one of these guys as a pet Be-friended one in the Florida Keys one year, we called Lucky...



I also became pals with one of these ugly ducks.



We named him ??????? Ok can't recall the name, but he was with us for the 2 weeks we ere in the florida keys... he liked to sit in water puddles, and tries to sit in your lap and walk into the cabin we were in, he used to wait for us if we went to Key West or another place and when he saw us he'd come and greet us.

Weird bird he was.

You actually own these foul? I always thought that 'foul' was a cruel name for such animals, as they are anything but foul. I still found lots of feathers in the kitchen today. It's as if they just materialise out of thin air. That bird must have been terribly nervous/scared.
