Forget about mental illness for a while and just let loose in here.

new Job

So excited.

I just got back from the office and talking to the Chef at www.sonoraresorts.com

It's this small resort out alone in it's own Island off the coast of Campell River in Vancouver Island.

The Chef told me all the bonuses, don't go girly but they butcher their own meat so we get experience how to disamble a animal and as he said "learn to respect the meat we use because you see the whole animal". No places in Canada do this anymore it's all pre-packaged.

They have outings and trips for the workers to go fishing or hiking, play hockey in the winter and badminton.

It's on it's own Island so I will get a chance to have calm and tranquility around me.

There's so much more but it's like a dream job and the best part is it's seasonal so I don't have to work year round only half a year then I can go travelling or go back and work in Mexico and have some extra money to live on since they pay for the entire expenses such as rent satellite and internet. :P

Hey, congratulations on that. It sounds like a really cool job. Not many people get to have their dream job, or even anything remotely close to it.

I remember your post in one of Element's threads. You listed all kinds of tasty meals. I was like damn, I wish this guy would cook for me. And your location is Hell's Kitchen. I was thinking you must be a chef or something. It all makes sense now....

But yea, good luck with it. Sounds like it's a great opportunity for you.

That's great whero. It goes to show that if you have a skill in a particular area, then there should be work out there for you (even in times of recession). Let's face it too: People HAVE TO eat, no matter what. Chefs are people who practicaly everyone admires and looks up to. Well-done my friend.
