Sunnyg wrote:It is a book from a series of novels by an American author. The story takes place in the early 1800's and is set in England. I love the descriptions of the gowns and stolen kisses. In the book there are 4 brothers... all princes. The series of novels follow the brothers through the chase of finding lovers. There is drama caused by a series of murders that take place.

Next on my reading list is Enticing the Prince and The Lady in Question

What is your book about?

Sunny...

I love those type of books. Whose the author I'd like to look it up? Is the authors name PAtricia Grasso?

For me it's the Scottish Highlands, but I like them set in England too... Ohhhh I want to read.

It's a series of 6 books...

Outlander
Dragonfly In Amber
Voyager
Drums of Autumn
Fiery Cross
Breathe of snow and Ashes

And they are actually coming out with a 7th this Sept YAY ... :D

It's hard to explain.. I'll show you the link for the first one, and you can look at the other titles ...

The author is Diana Gabaldon fantastic author if you like those old time type of books. Also read a great one recently during that time in England and multiple other highland books.

Here is what they say about the first one.... it's great.

In 1945, Claire Randall, a former combat nurse, is back from the war and reunited with her husband on a second honeymoon—when she innocently touches a boulder in one of the ancient stone circles that dot the British Isles. Suddenly she is a Sassenach—an "outlander"—in a Scotland torn by war and raiding border clans in the year of our Lord...1743.

Hurled back in time by forces she cannot understand, Claire''s destiny in soon inextricably intertwined with Clan MacKenzie and the forbidden Castle Leoch. She is catapulted without warning into the intrigues of lairds and spies that may threaten her life ...and shatter her heart. For here, James Fraser, a gallant young Scots warrior, shows her a passion so fierce and a love so absolute that Claire becomes a woman torn between fidelity and desire...and between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

Another fast read is Intimate Enemies by Shana Abe, great book just finished it.

I'm on the 5th novel of the Outlander series but Diana Gabaldon, Drums of Autumn.

Addicted to these type of books. I'll have to look up that other book you mentioned.

Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoy.
And others I can't be bothered remembering.
I love reading.
And classic novels
and I love putting the two together.
