fly on the wall insight

Postby A.I. » Fri Jan 23, 2009 9:06 am

so i was talking to friend the other day and he mentioned how my being shy gave me insight into a lot of social situations. it may sound cheesy or conceited but being a fly on the wall all the time really does give you a chance to glean a bit info about people. so i guess i would just ask for the fun of it what was the last thing you realized about someone or the nature of man kind in gerneral just by not speaking.

i personally spend a lot of time observing pride, and one day i realized something i probably should have already known. i understood that if you look at the soldiers who think people should be strong and self reliant, the selfish non conformists who believe people should do whatever they want and not worry about anyone else, and the sensitive folk who believe in compasion and being generous. all any of them really did was look at themselves, decide how like to live, and then decided thats what everyone should be like. noone ever stops to think about how much sense their ego makes.

so what about the rest of you?

this is true!!

if i wasn't so loud most of the time i wouldn't mind trying to be a fly on the wall :)
