I wonder what foreign history text-books actually say about Irish history. While thinking about it now, we have come a long way since even the 1980's here. I mean, you could effectively say that the civil war has been over for many many years now. There are still 'punishment beatings', but nowhere near as many as before. It will take some generations for all of that bad feeling to be eliminated out of the gene pool.

The link to the old avatar expired. Hes just a guy in a robe with a scythe. Who happens to be immortal.

Oi! I'll have to reprimand you now Asuka for that misdemeanor. I shall allow YarlSoutan to decide tghe punishment, hehe.

Is that a comic that I see? Ever hear of a comic writer/artists called Jhonen Vasquez? He writes fairly gruesome comics but I pretty much own every comic that he's wriotten. You can buy his stuff in Forbidden Planet on Aston Quay, Asuka. Oh wait, you aren't in Dublin, are you?

Its actually a page from a manga, but its basically the same thing as a comic.

I think the only big difference is manga is read backwards. I used to really be into the Dragonball cartoons but the manga just isn't the same. Some characters have different names and it's in black and white.

Oh yeh, that is true indeed. My bro bought some Japanese manga comics and I noticed him reading them backwards one day and said: 'What the ###$... ...?'. He explained to me about it, and I thought that it was pretty cool. Writing 'backwards' (like arabic) favours left-handed people, but writing forwards favours right-handed people. Try it out - You'll notice the way that the base of the hand can smudge the ink.

Does Israel think that this is going to stop Hamas fighting them? It won't. In fact, it will probably bolster support for Hamas within Palestine and there will more MORE attacks than usual. The leaders of some nations are genuinely short-sighted and dumb. The soon-to-be ex president of the USA is one, as are the presidents of Venezuela, Bolivia, and Russia.
