If this isn't ironic, I don't know what is. Thanks for providing the links to all of your songs though, angststoornis. Here are more suggestions by myself:

Michael Jackson - Heal The World
Michael Jackson - Earth Song
Gustav Holst - Jupiter (from The Planets suite)

I think it's more depressing that those songs are by a pedophile.

You know, I want to criticise you for this comment, but I can't. I mean, I'm a fan of Michael Jackson and I just find it hard to accept that he could have done such things. However, I know - depp down - that he probably did. He has talent, no doubt about it though.

Surprisingly enough, the song by Elton John known as Sad Songs (Say So Much) is actually quite cheerful.

My TOP 2 all time faves.. (by the looks of it, I doubt you'll be into them)

1. *A Change is Gonna Come - Sam Cooke*

2. *Con te Partiro - Andrea Bocelli*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*Behind Blue Eyes - Original or remake*
*Everybody Hurts - REM*
*Dont Dream its Over - Crowded House*
*November Rain - Guns n Roses*
*The End of the World - Skeeter Davis*
I am mostly into anything and everything.. but these I feel will always be my faves, and they always bring a tear to my eyes. :cry: I want these played at my funeral. :wink:
Argh there is so many, I keep coming back to add another. Okay stop. lol.
I won't repeat the above titles, so apart from most:
Home by Depeche Mode
Mr Rock And Roll by Amy MacDonald
Coma White by Marilyn Manson
Coma Black by Marilyn Manson, lot's of the songs on Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood.
Narcoleptic by Placebo
and some more...
Fithich chràbhach
ag ràdh na conaire gairge ud
airson nam marbh ana-creideach.
Fithich flrithealach
nan sagartachd dhubh,
a' cuartachadh 's a' cuartachadh
anns an adhar throm,
a' toirt tròcair is ìobairt gu coma
don mhòintich.
Holy God, that's a song that I don't have in my collection. thanks for the reminder. Depeche Mode have another depressing song entitled 'Enjoy The Silence', by the way.
