I love the old super nintendo it's still my favorite.

The Wii I got first then the BF wanted the PS3, mainly for blue ray but he likes the odd game as well ...

We still have either the old super nintendo, or maybe the original one, I can't remember now as it's for sure stuff away in a box in our house somewhere.

The Wii is basically mine.... I have used it more...

I've heard about all the issues with the 360 that is why we refused to get one...

We are quite happy with what we got.

I'm poor I don't have a system. If they made a game shopping for tacos I'd get that.

No kiddin' Butterfly, you have a Wii and PS3? Sorry for being surprised but - ummm - I just didn't imagine you to be the gaming type. The most recent console I have is the PS1. I'm more a PC gamer, but I don't even play games on that anymore.

My favourite on the SNES was Super Mario World. On a related note, I have over 600 games each for the Mega Drive (Sega Genesis) and SNES on my PC (yes, my PC).

You're the second person from Yorkshire that I've seen here in a week now! I love in Ireland but my brother lives in York city itself. I love that place - it's so picturesque. Have you ever been there yourself?

With the Wii you're active though so that's what I like about it, your not always sitting on your butt. The wii fit is fantastic.

Asuka, I have only downloaded SNES, Mega Drive, NES, GameBoy, Gameboy Colour, GameBoy Advance, and N64 ROMS. I have never looked into getting Neo Geo / Mame ones... ...but the prospect of Street Fighter Alpha is seriously tempting me to do so!

By the way, is the Neo Geo different from MAME? I'm a bit confused regarding arcade machines. As far as I understand, Neo Geo is the arcade machine, but MAME is the name of the emulator?

Hey, no it's okay - you don't have to email me thos emulators. After I had posted, I actually spent a while figuring out what MAME and Neo Geo were actually referring too. So far, I've only downloaded SF3 Alpha, but haven't found the time to play it yet.

I have around 700 games each for the Mega Drive and SNES on my PC, and around 10 each for the other console that I mentioned. I also have two USB joypads - Did you ever buy one of these? They make a big difference.
