Psych analysis questions...........

Ok so im new to this whole forum thing but i have a question about psych analysis questions. someone asked me to picture a walking path, a cup, a tree and a wall inside my head and describe it to them. after describing them he basically summed up the generals of my life and i am really realy curious as to where he got the questions and analysis information from. does anyone have and suggestions on who or what to read about and look up? If so your input would be much appreciated.

It seems like answering is such a position that you have to sit in meditation.
