Why do I have to log in twice?

I seem to have to. Anyone else?

It's not for both my personalities is it? :D

I couldn't find a website complaint section.

There is a box that you can click that allows you to stay logged into the site, so you don't have to keep putting your username & password in.

However, if you clear your history, or cookie's then you will have to login again.

No, I mean I'll log in and when the page changes I am still not logged in.
Can't use the stay logged in thing. I use lots of computers.

I have this problem also. I have to log in twice, I always tick the keep me logged in box. It only allows me to visit the website twice before I have to log in again.

I had this problem and the reason was that it was flitting between

www.psychforums.com

and

psychforums.com

While they are the same site, your browser treats them as two sites. I just made an effort to enure I am always using psychforums.com and it has worked every since.

im afraid that this is a problem with the software that the website uses, im sure it could be fixed but only someone who has the correct privaleges on here could sort it out, e.g. the owner. i havent tested it but i believe that this would happen regardless of whether you ticked the "keep me logged in box" or not. clearing your history and cookies etc. would most likely cause this aswell.

hope that clears a few things up for people :D. i used to be an admin for i different website thats not on the internet anymore so...
My avatar just kicks so much ass!!!
