I love that Eagles' song, but also One Of These Nights, New Kid In Town, and Journey of the Sourcerer (The theme to The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV series).

I searched for Matt Costa's MySpace page, and I like his music. So that was an interesting find, thanks to your list up there.

A few bands you may be interested in are;

Shapes of Race Cars
Intramural
Mannequin Depressives

But currently, I have been listening to a lot of different music.

Been going through goth/post-punk to jazz to electronic rock (Curve, mostly), and a wealth of other interesting sounds.

If you like melancholic blues jazz, I would suggest Bill Evans. Speaking of which, does anyone else know of good blues jazz musicians? You know, the type with that melancholy saxophone... The type of music you'd hear in a good noir movie from the '40s/'50s.
"Now I'm not looking for absolution
Forgiveness for the things I do
But before you come to any conclusions
Try walking in my shoes"
- Walking in My Shoes~ Depeche Mode

One sunday morning i had the tv on to CBS, I think it was. And Evanescence performed. I had not heard of this group before. The music was so beautiful, that i had to stop what I was doing to give my full attention, and ears.
Lovely music.

Evanescence are a peculiar group to me because they are a rock / metal band, but have a female lead singer. I think there are other such bands already out too - maybe it's a new trend? The female voice can be very beautiful indeed, and it's nice to hear it with metal music for a change.

I hate it if people say: Oh, that song is pretty old... WTF, whos gives a ###$, if its good it cant ever get ######6 old. Age doesnt tell $#%^ about a song!
