This is kind of creepy. Explanation?

Is there a way to know if you are being cyberstalked? How can one tell, besides what you have previously mentioned. Like finding your victim on message boards and such?
I think this is very scary.

I'm sure a lot of people do this in varying extremes. I was posting in a forum once and someone ran my email through google and pulled up a bunch of info about me and started posting it after my posts... this guy is kind of creepy though, like that guy from Billy Maddison with the lipstick and the list "People to Kill"

How did you contain your anger about this? What did you do? Geez, what CAN you do, after something like that happens? I would be fuming, and hurt too.
May i ask about that email acct that the fellow googled about you? I'd like to know, did you use a nickname? I guess what i'm saying is, can one find out your real name by googling your nickname acct? Can this be done?

well basically I used to use the same login for different websites, what happened wasn't that he ran my email, but my nickname, like he dropped an old site nickname "larssec" into google and found a bunch of postings from other sites and started quoting them in the forum I was in. The site he found where I used the same nickname was actually a personals site, so he did find information of a generally more personal nature.
Basically the point is you can find out tons of information about people through the internet with the most minimum amount of information. Google your own name and see how much things about you pop up. If I put my name and hometown in, the top 5 results are all me.
