Hello. I'm 19 years old going twenty.
Wow, I've never thought about using the "young and stupid" excuse to my parent. Now I can't be using it anymore  :P
love yourself because there is only one thing that is surely yours - you

If you remove the "young" word from that phrase, you can still use the phrase by just saying that you were "stupid". Everyone makes mistakes, right through their teenage years and through adulthood. It's how we learn.

hahaha....yeah, I could just use "stupid" but I always assumed that "young and stupid" implied I was young and therefore, I am stupid....and therefore I will outgrow it, and a valid excuse to act like a compleate idiot at times....

to say I am stupid....uh....some don't outgrow that, lol....but I am sometimes (as is everybody)? so then I guess that makes that statement valid, lol

but then again, my brain wont be fully formed until around the age of 25, so I still have that excuse..... :D

Interestingly, the brain continues to reshape itself and create strong new neural connections throughout life. This is contrary to the common belief that all old people 'lose' their intelligence with age. They only 'lose' their intelligence if they develop a neuro-degenerative condition. Otherwise, they continue to learn and become ever-more wiser.

The rule? - Don't think you know better than a person older than you; because you invariably don't.

it may continue to change your whole life.....but it is fully developed as an "adult brain" at age 25.....at least concerning the frontal lobe..it may change, but who knows if it is for the better...

actually this year I saw some movie on the brain, and it said that the brain has an experation date....I think it was like at around 135 years though (can't remember the exact date, but who cares)....so I have a ways before that happens....

...an Iron Maiden fan I see? I'm not their biggest fan but it's nice to see that they're still making T-shirts of the band!

I'm 25. Though I like to think I'm younger.
