How old are you?

21 and had my birthday in Italy surrounded by great men with some wine. Wonderful and I even got a kiss.

I'm 17

I am 21. It is funny, i remember being around 13 and thinking that 21 was so old. I had this idea that by 20 i would own a house, be married and instantly become all seriouse and responsible, fun would be over, and my creativity gone, lol. I turned out so different than I ever could of imagined, and I honestly dont feel that different from being a teenager, except maybe a few less mood swings.

29 here yet emotional age may be closer to 17 as I was in the dark about a lot of life experiences that everyone else seemed to know.

I feel like I'm 14 most of the time. I have no idea why. xD

It is funny that most seem to feel younger than their age, i know for me it is because i had odd ideas about getting older...i remember being 17, i felt i felt like i was 14 as well...kinda nice though...i know lately though i have been in this sort of age crisis...i am so scared that the years are going by too quick and before i know it i will be old...i feel so chronilogicaly old, even though mentaly i feel young, almost immature...i sort of wish i could just remain 21 for another 8 years or so, that way i could sort of "catch up" or something...i am not looking forward to being 22, but i have until december to learn to except it

Megan, I think everyone feels that they are too old and that the years are going by quickly. However, each person should look at their age from the perspective of someone older than themselves. For example, I'm 25 and feel that I'm incredibly old. However, when I feel this way, I have trained my self to look at my age from the perspective of - for example - my parents, who are in their fifties. To them, I am still very very young.

It could be the case that they are lying and only perceive themselves as looking younger... ...

I like the time's going too fast theory.

It feels like time started getting fast since I was 14, I guess that's why I'm still 'stuck' in that age. Now it goes by faster and faster as the years go on! It sucks. I can't believe I just went through another school year. Freshman year felt like it took nearly forever, with things starting to really pick up by sophmore year.
I understand the feeling immature thing. When I start to really feel like a child again, I become aware of my age and feel olllld. Even though I'm only 3 years past 14.
When I go around older folk and listen to their discussions I become aware of what a baby in years I still am. I don't like being around kids too much-they make me feel ancient.
I'm turning 18 this year. I'm anticipating it and dreading it all at once, haha.

Haha, sungirl i know what you mean! i think that is why i tend to enjoy talking and hanging around older individuals, it makes me feel young. I think that is like what kevin said also. But then again, i do feel as if i am a little immature for 21, and wish my brain would just catch up, but maybe most feel this way? who knows, i think the last 4 years went by way too fast, i am afraid it will be anytime and i will be 30, and not be any different...just old, and immature...you know what the hardest age was? 20. I was no longer a teenager, i could no longer use the "young and stupid" excuse. If i goofed off i was no longer a "immature teen", i was an adult. I still cant call myself a woman, it doesnt sound right for some reason. I still feel like a "young adult", a young lady...i thought i would feel mentally older at this age. I am old, and growing up too quick, i am inbetween something.
