Thanks for your offer. I'm a schizophrenic and I visit here a lot. I have a large word file that I would like to convert into a pdf file, but I can't afford a pdf Maker or whatever, do you know if it is possible to make a pdf without that software?

I use a program called PDF Creator. You can download the latest version here:

http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator/download

You don't run it as a normal program. Instead, you open the document that you want to convert into a PDF and go to 'Print'. You then select 'PDFCreator' from the printer drop-down box and proceed from there.
