@Chucky: Yeah it should be no problem. You just select the layer or mask or it's in one of the pulldown menus as long as you don't have it all one layer then you can make the background transparent no problem. Yeah!

Pretty easy, depending on the image. It can be time consuming and intense.

What I usually do is copy the original image and go to File/New and create a new image using a transparent background, from the advanced dialogue box. Then I'll paste the original in the new image, anchor the layer and use some method, like the eraser, to take out everything I don't want.

I need to dink around with masks more. I had a trick for colorizing B&W pictures but I've forgotten how to do that. I've tried probably a dozen times to do it again but I'll be dam*** if I can figure it out.

Music is my best time occupier. It simply DEMANDS my attention, thus making it harder for my mind to take over.

Sometimes I read.

Interesting... ...Which type of music can you read with? Also, you said that music "demands" your attention - how then can you read?! :)

I read the forums while listening to music and I usually am listening to foreign music (Spanish) so I do the same too similar. I am also writing this while listening but I usually zone out the music while writing and just drift along pages while listening to music. The music I listen is very emotional or emo some would think so it requires attention but I just kinda do it. I'm sure alot others do it as well, music is just sound translated into feelings.

I'm interested whero: Which Spanish songs can you recommend for me? I have some French songs on my PC but lack Spanish ones. However, one that I do have is called Dias De Verano, by an artist called Amaral.

I recommend Nelly Furtado, fotografia with Juanes. She's Canadian like me but she has status in Portugal where I want status in Mexico at least after my extended leave.

As well I have been listening to Belinda. It's a Mexican rock with extreme English Influences. Such as noche cool or boba nina nice and my favourite alguin mas which means somebody else.

I listened to those alot while I was in the hospital and they got me sane from some of the other pascients not to say all of them were bad or entirely bad but just a little on the up side for me. Also sueno de morrir by Alex Campos is a great song I would listen to more if I wasn't part atheist.

Thanks, I will search for them in a while, after I have my shower. Nelly Furtado has some English songs too - I never thought that she had released Spanish ones too but, I guess it makes sense that she would.

If you're interested, I recommend Alizée for French songs. Moi Lolita is especially a fabulous song. If you like, I will email it to you. I also have the French national anthem (La Marseillaise), should you be also interested in that.

Sure I like listening to French music too. I had roomates when I was bunking in the mountains working at this hotel here. It was French rap I also use to listen to a radio band I saw a friend from Mexico listening too which was casted from France.

Just send it to my msn.
