OT -- What happened to the dark blue colors on Psych Forums?

I was impressed with the new color scheme a week ago as backdrop on this site. Then the decision was made to go back to the same old washed out light blue format which I loath. I was digging the dark blue. Why have the administrators gone back to the same old boring "look"?

Not sure what forum to post this on, only thoughts and perhaps a rant. Oh -- is it necessary to have the adverts on header all the time?

the dark blue will likely come back, that was an ad color scheme but I liked it. We'll be upgrading to the latest version of the forums within the next few months and will play with color schemes then.

I never thought of it before, but come to think of it the light blue is a bit of a psych ward colour...
