After reading that list of McCartney & Wings songs, I realise that I prefer them all to any of the Beatles' songs. Wings had some really great, timeless, and simply songs. Don't forget Magneto & Titanium Man, MadMel :)

I'm not sure what to make of Mull of Kintyre. I mean, you can look at it from the perspective of it's beautiful lyrics, the bagpipes, or the mellow-singing tone that McCartney adopts. It's a neat little song :)

Yep - I know the video. It's a bit bizarre I think but I'm watching it now on YouTube. I don't actually own any form of a Beatles album. I must buy a McCartney & Wings greatest hits! To be honest, my favourite song is Band On The Run. It's like three songs in one.

Chucky you can read my mind, band on the run is my all time Wings favourite to.No more lonely nights if Macca's on his own.I have a Beatles demo 45rpm of Day tripper and lots of everything/everybody beatlemania records/cd's.I might be being a bit naughty saying this but just kind of took a bit of a shine to Heather,SORRY.People/media were a little unkind toward's her, I just thought WOW.What a strong and determined lady.

Hey,

I just noticed that you are from Manchester! I live just across the sea in Ireland, in a town outside Dublin. I was in Manchester earlier this year, but only passing through.

Don't worry about liking Heather because I like her too. It is possible to like both her and Paul. The media were overly harsh on her. Her interview on Richard & Judy (?) really hit me hard - It showed that she's human and that the media were treating her as if she wasn't human.

Go Heather! Rock on!

Kevin.

Chucky what about sir pauls,We all stand together,Paul McCartney and the chorus song, the one with Rupert bear. There was the animated video to the song which was sweet but no where near as sweet as Heather.I would have offered her all my money to stay,I think it was a case of two strong personalities clashing.Lovely city Dublin and am a massive fan of U2 ,The greatest performance ever from bono at BAND aid, wembley in the eighties.

Rock this way Heather, but i'am skint.

Hehe, We All Stand Together is certainly a strange song. I listened to Wings on my iPod today while I was out walking. It put me in a good mood to be honest and, for the first time, I actually listened to the lyrics of Live & Let Die. Many people don't pay attention to the lyrics of songs, I feel. That's not a problem though - each to their own.

Whee! I love The Beatles...and music is such an awesome icebreaker!

1. Let It Be (it shares some chords with Pachelbel's Canon)
2. All You Need is Love (love the Love Actually cover as well)
3. Imagine (I play this on piano; it's awesome!)
4. Yesterday
5. Hey Jude (someone taught me how to play this on guitar once)
6. She Loves You (I danced to this when I was seven!)[/i]
