Indeed, I recall the 'summer' of 2007 in Dublin: It literally either rained or drizzled every single day for the summer months. I was working in the central laboratory and had to use my umbrella every single time I went for my walk at break.

Man, I got 10.6 inches (26.9 cm) of snow Thursday night...it was CRAZY! Now it's warming up though...but you know what they say about March, in like a lion, out like a lamb.
Lurking in the grass, this grass is my home, this home is the void, the void of my mind...

My memories of London are actually quite good. I've been there twice and it was hot both times. The first time was way back (maybe 15 years ago) and it was summer-time. I was sweating just by walking slowly around. the other time I was there was for an interview at King's College (Denmark Hill campus) in April last year, and it was hot then too.

Its getting better. Snow in Oregon is charming. Snow in the Netherlands is depressing...perhaps its the lack of mountains. Now the days are sunny but still cold and crispy...my very favourite weather :D

Yeah, it's a bit of a myth that it always rains in London. London gets less yearly rainfall the cities like Sydney in Australia. I live not far from the outskirts of London and summers down here can get really hot. Unfortunately our winters are terrible, like 6 months of dull dreary grey sky between September to March.

It actually SNOWED here in VT the other day. May snow is not unheard of here. Does anyone else get May snow?

It's been snowing in Scotland (out of season) occasionally since the harsh winter that we all had. There was snow there last week, and the weather report for me (midlands of the UK) is for a harsh frost overnight. It's currently 9.20PM here.
