yeah.. Bone chilling is a good choice of words to describe here too. We keep turning up the thermostat, thankfully heating/gas is included where I live.

Where do you live?

The heat doesn't work in the apartment I live in right now. So it stays around 50 degrees, it gets chilly at night. We do have a natural gas fireplace that does put off some heat but it's a decorative fireplace and you can only feel it if you are right in front of it.

The weather can't make up it's mind. Although the 2 choices at the moment are quite good ones, It's either dry and cold or wet and cold.

Someone told me that last year, there were only sun rays in May, in England. So I think it must be quite depressed.
I´m thinking of going there next summer. Any invitation?

No, it was sunny and hot in June and July as well, just not much in August.

It could do with being less humid, but other than UK weather suits me a lot of the time.

TONS OF SNOW AND TONS OF WIND. The latter I hate but snow is great, no guys not the Canadian-Reggae rapper Snow, the white stuff that falls from the sky 8)

Bitterly cold, but it's warming up. Tonight's the first time in almost a week where the overnight low will be above zero degrees, Fahrenheit - all the way up to 6F. By Saturday, it's supposed to be comfortably in the low- to mid- 40s, so the snow is going to melt.

Yes, I saw all of that snow on the TV. Over here it's just starting to really become cold now. This evening, it looked like there waas steam rising up from the ground, but it was just thick mist.

Hay que joderse! It seems that a polar wave is coming to my country, and it´s onlyaquestion of time that it starts snowing. It´s really strange because since, some scientists are talking about global healing, in my city snows every winter and this is really, really strange.
It´s all said that newspapers don´t talk about another thing when it snows in my city.

With Global Warming, the temperatures will become more extreme (i.e. colder winters; hotter summers). However, ingeneral, it will be hotter. The more CO2 in the atmosphere results in more heat; more heat in the atmosphere then results in hotter oceans; and hotter oceans results in more evaporation of water into the atmosphere - this then results in more tropical storms in the future. The more heat in the atmosphere also means a greater pressure, and this causes stronger winds.

Conversely, during winter, the enormous amount of heat in the atmosphere will be lost more quickly, and this will result in colder temperatures.
