We had a good few days, Katrina, but I think that it's now the dark and dreary path to winter. I, however, am not going to accept it this year. I mean, I'm not going to accept that the cold and darkness upsets me. i'm goign to get on with life and smile as if it were summer.

Yeah true! I wonder when the snow will arrive! I quite like the snow when i can look out the window and I'm all warm and cosy. I think I shall do that to Kevin :) there's no point in moping around!

Global warming will result in a net increase in global temperatures, but we must understand that some regions will actually become colder and wetter, while others hotter and drier. What will really be the $#%^ hitting the fan is when the North Atlantic Drift (or 'thermohaline circulation') breaks down. If that happens, then the UK and Ireland will freeze.

Chucky, that sounds like a crazy plot for a movie... oh wait it is,nThe Day After Tomorrow is that movie and of course it's an over exaggeration but the whole thing is based in real evidence which is what is scary.

Ooh, what are you plannin g to see? If you like good acting and scriptwriting, I'd suggest the new 'Tinker, Tailor' film with Gary Oldman. Brilliant! :D Not much action as in guns and knives, but very good film-making.
Right now, it's just cloudy although it has been drizzling/raining round here.

It's been a dreary day so far.

I'll have a look ... the person that i'm goign with just messaged me to ask me what we're going to see!! If that's on in the cinema, then I might as well suggest it.

THanks chief.

No problem, Kevin! :) You might find it a bit slow if you're used to car chases and gunfights, but once you settle into it, it's a really good film, really gets you thinking with a 'stellar British cast' to quote most reviews. It might still be be on, it was released a couple of weeks ago. It's what my dad calls 'cerebral action', lots of thinking

@LostRed: Sorry to hear it's been a deary day. There's a lot of that going round, especially with snow being rumoured for this month here.
