I got a good chuckle out of that...

It's just a tad chilly here right now. Around 9:30 am. (Mid-North Carolina)

It's snowing, again. What the heck. This time it's snowing harder and sticking. I'm on spring break god, not winter break. You need to get your seasons back in order.

Whats funny, we got no snow in winter break, however, now that it's spring break, it's snowing.

I'm confused :/

I think we should redefine our seasons because I've noticed them coming later and later each year for the past decade or so. It's normally mid-Spring here but it feels like Winter. We didn't even have a Summer here last year, in fact. It's ben bad weather now for about half-a-year.

Not to get off topic, but personally I think the wierd weather is due to the destruction of out environment (pollution, clear cutting, etc.) Just my take on it.

As for the topic, it's gotten really nice here today. It's mid afternoon now, and it feels good outside. Maybe just a tad too warm for me, though... =/

This is very, very true. I live in Portugal which has moderate weather and when I was younger the beggining of spring almost dictated the complete halt of the rain; in the winter everyday it would rain; in the summer it never rained, but it wasn't suffocatingly hot, just pleasantly warm. Now in the winter it's sunny, rain, sunny, rain, rain; spring the same and summer has days you don't even want to be outside because the air almost burns.

It was always going to be hard to make such a comment and not have anyone reply to it nightshade! I agree too, however, that pollution and the destruction of the environment has been causing the shifting weather patterns. The past year especially has been much different from other years - It's as if something has just 'broke' in mother nature recently and it's now on a run-away effect.

Didn't a huge chunk of yet another ice-berg recently break-free?

It's still colder than normal here, but it's sunny today. I wish it was windy! I love wind

Since the first day of spring here in Montreal the sun's been shining. In the past 3 days it's been just above zero, so the huge amounts of snow are slowly melting. I am no longer freezing in my appartment (it is underheated by the landlord). I just hope the summer is not too hot.

Philo, you might consider eating more fatty foods to put on a layer of fat under your skin. Fat keeps your body warm. I recently lost pretty much all of my layers of fat due to a form of medication I am on for a chronic condition. I am feeling the cold much more now. I need to eat more fatty foods to put a base layer of fat back on.

Normally I would, Kevin, but I'm actually trying to lose weight. Doing nothing, as well as illness has made me a big belly. The landlord purposely turns the heat down to cut back on costs, so even the fat people are freezing.
