Raising Money

Hey all

Basically in the Summer (about July) I am sorting out going to Goa in India to do some volunteering work for 2 months. Thing is i have very little money (still paying back from a trip last summer). Need to raise about £1000 over the next 2-3 months. I desperaly need ideas on how to do it.

Firstly I came upwith handcuffing myself for a week and going around my town collecting funds, but people iv said this to have told me its rubbish.

Kind of thinking to make anything close to that amount I need to run an event of some sorts.

Any ideas would be great!!! please help!

Forgive me for asking the obvious, stupid question;

How 'bout gettin a job?

Waiting tables, babysitting, gardening, spring planting, maintenance?
tutoring, house-cleaning, spring-cleaning, window-washing, car-washing?

A bank loan?
