Back in the Days...

Postby nightshade » Sun Jan 13, 2008 11:21 pm

I was just listening to this track

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF35EICI6Yo

and thought... how many people wish they could go back to when they where a kid?

So I decided to make this thread. I'm only 17 and I already feel like my life is rushing by. Next thing I know, I'll be graduating, then getting married (to my current gf, hopefully), starting a family... Before I know it I'll be one of the old guys at the Waffle House talking about "When I was your age..."

I miss being a little kid, and was wondering how many people here feel the same way. So, anyone here wish the could be a kid again?

Your link doesn't point to any particular track at all. In any case, I had similar outlooks on the future when I was your age but, I can assure you, things can change very quickly indeed. Life is longer than you think too and you are in fact very young still.

No. The ignorance of youth, while at times blissful, is not something I'd ever wish to return to. The powerlessness was quite frustrating as well. And after going through a few tracks of my old CD collection in an attempt to rile up some nostalgia, the music absolutely sucked, too ;)

No thanks, no going back to being under the thumb of my parents and teachers alike. Plus it was the 80s, how sad was that...

sorry about the link not working. I tried fixing it, but for some reason it still no worky...

If you really want to hear the song bad enough, you could copy/paste it in the address bar. :?

For those of you who may have heard of him already, the song is 'Back in the days' by Ahmad. More recently know from the group '4th Ave. Jones'

Sorry again about the link...

EDIT: Tried fixing it again, and it works for me... here's hoping...

Thanks, it is working now. I have never heard of this song before though. I doubt it ever made it big where I am from. This type of song never makes it big here

Yeah, my brother got me into this type of stuff. I thought it was kinda wierd at first, but I have to say, it's grown in me.

Anyway, I was just curious what other people thought about reliving childhood...
