Anyone here ever think about making video games?

Anyone here ever think about making video games?

I constantly think about creating games:
Adventure, Role-playing, Strategy... any genre really.
I'm just wondering if anyone else in this community, likes to or would like to design games someday?

I've also been teaching myself to program in computer languages for a long time, in order to make really fun games. It's a great way to kill some time, but it's a little heavy on the logic/math side.

It has always been my dream to create videogames, ever since I was like 7 years old. Videogames have always been a HUGE part of my life. I didn't have any friends, were never that much into books, TV or music so games became my ticket to fantasyland.

I've always wanted to create a game but my tendency towards never finishing what I start, lack of motivation, and being too critical towards my own work always got in the way so I've sort of given up now. And besides, my interest in them has been subsiding a little since I began to work and don't as much time to play, which really isn't saying much because I was obsessed with games in aspie-like proportions.

Anyway perhaps I'm rambling too much so I'll just shut up.

Absolutely, my goal is to one day bring my creative and directing skills to the video-game industry to bring it up to speed with the film and television industry.

Same with me, I still spend most of my free time playing video games (then again, I'm onle 17).

But I hope to become a graphics designer for a game co. someday... not really the same as a designer for the game itself, but still thought I'd post.

BTW, I'm new to the fourms, so... Hi. :)

I worked on a "pac man" take off with a friend for a while - it was a Sigmund Freud head that went around eating little pills and was chased by patients instead of ghosts.
