Hmm, no-one wishes for you to leave. Please do not be disheartened by anything said here. My view of this thread is something fun (which is why it's in the Just For Fun forum, presumably).

Thanks, but it seems we're not connecting here. That's probably my fault because I have a tendency to jump into things without hesitation. That can be a little disconcerting to people who don't know me, and I sure haven't given you a chance to do so. Did I mention that I get impatient? LOL.

Anyway, I'm not in the mood to get disheartened at present, so it would be quite impossible for me to do such. I'll try not to rush from now on (no promises).

Let me see if I can dehijack the thread. Deep dark secrets? Hmmm, maybe this will qualify, since it's a secret and made me feel pretty dark at the time, although I think it's funny as Hades now.

I called the suicide prevention hotline and they hung up on me!

It seems that having a sense of humor when you're contemplating suicide is verboten and gets you instantly (but mistakenly) diagnosed as a crank caller. I assure you that it was a very dark sense of humor, but apparently none is allowed whatsoever. How was I to know? This was before I got locked up for a while and (apparently) was correctly diagnosed as a bipolar at the end of his rope. Even at my lowest point (this wasn't it) I never lost my sarcastic, biting sense of humor. I think it was all I had left connecting me to some semblance of reality and if I lost it, I would be gone too.

There, I hope that qualifies as deep and dark. Who's next?

Hi, Nutcase.

If you were commenting on me before your edit, by all means, fire away. I promise I can take it as well as dish it out, and besides, you should never change your mind as long as it's fresh.

It's rather upsetting to hear that the suicide hotline hung-up on you but I imagine they receive many prank callers. I think I'm like you in that I can always joke even when things seem pretty bleak.

What was Nutcase referring to by PD's?

no mate it wasnt about you, was about everyone lol
and PD = personality disorder, but that means something very different in the UK to the US.

also

someone hung up on me on a suicide hotline as well! twice!

one of them said after 9 minutes "...Well i got more important things to be doing, bye now!" and slammed the phone down!

real helpful.

Well, I must admit that it did bother me when it happened, but after I thought about it a while it seemed to fit in very well with everything else going on at the time so I actually found it amusing after some consideration.

I'm guessing that a sense of humor, no matter how bleak, is a way of coping/hanging on when things get tough. Fortunately. I've always had one even at the worst of times. I truly would be scared if I lost it.

That's a relief. It usually takes at least two posts before people learn to hate me. I thought I might be getting better/worse at offending.

Twice? Have you ever considered the possibility that you may have a problem? But look on the bright side, 9 minutes is about twice as long as I made it. I figure she didn't want to miss her break. Well, I figure figuring that makes me feel better about my atrocious social skills. Go figure, you figure?

BTW, I like your avatar, but for some reason it gives me a headache.

Later.

Secrets? Ummm...

-I have an obsession with people who are wierd, like me.
-I am a virgin.
-I enjoy putting myself in pain.
-I have a problem with trusting anyone's word.
-I have some odd fetishes. Crying turns me on, blood does as well, and I won't go any further that direction.
-I have a crush on every girl I see that catches my eye.
-I have no explanation why I want to die, or why I'm depressed.
-I loathe myself.
-I hate masturbating.
-Gothic girls are an intense interest of mine.
-I hate Avril Lavigne. Princess of Punk my ass.
-I hate anything labeled as punk that clearly isn't punk, same with metal.
-I'm very lonely. One night without talking to someone will kill me.
-Suicide is a fascination.
-Cutting turns me on.
-I have thoughts of necrophilia.

Ummm...yeah.
Look into the void. Into the hole in the sky. There's nothing but a black abyss into which all feeling incinerates, that my friend, is death. I've stared into it's eyes, It's tempting aura, and it, it has breathed right down my neck...

Well, we have a couple of things in common and obviously I have more problems than I listed, but since you had the guts to post all this, I think you're the winner.

I take it that you are working with "professionals" in order to help you feel better? I think you want help or you wouldn't have posted in the first place, and that's an encouraging sign.

Keep your chin up, at least that way no one can sucker punch you. Good luck and best wishes in your journey.
