Cereals and yoghurt and raisins and such for breakfast, and lasagna from freezer that I only need to heat for lunch. Not today but these days.

One thing I've been doing a lot of lately is marinating chicken thighs. It's a game changer. I don't even need to eat the chicken with any sauce or topping when it's like that.

I typically put it in a large zip lock, then add olive oil, maple syrup, dijon mustard, thyme, montreal chicken spice, and some very spicy bbq hot sauce. Close the bag and mix it up. Leave it to marinate in the fridge for a few hours at least, and then fry it up in a cast iron pan.
That with salad and some other side makes for an unreal dinner, pretty healthy too.

I've bought few times already marinated chicken and only had to fry it.

In the last few weeks, I learned to make the cheesecake (the simplest possible recipe) and praline with nougat (don't know if this is the correct term but a very sweet and chokolaty dessert). I'm still cooking mostly for myself and order when others appear. I can cook but I don't get the details yet and I am not always patient enough to leave something to cool down etc.
