The "reliable Sauce" Thread

Do you have a reliable sauce and if so then what is it?

I'm quite reliant on tomato ketchup. Its been a reliable sauce for many many years.

Ketchup is a crime against tomatoes.

It's been a staple food of mine since 1989.

I can quite easily live without mayonnaise though and I've just recently started having mustard on a burger.

I put mayonnaise on everything. Burgers (try it), fries (dip 'em!), the cat (he loves it), my hair (makes it smooth and silky and eggy and salty), my screens (cuts out blue light), random people on the street (they thank me, or they will), the sun (stops that horrible screeching sound it always makes). Everything.

I've never had holiday sauce but I believe it's nice on an egg.

I like a bit of soy sauce for the saltiness.

For years I thought it was called soya sauce.

What is the difference between chocolate sauce and chocolate syrup?

This is not a joke, it's a question.

Good because it wasn't funny.

I don't know the difference. I've never had either.

I've had apple sauce though and spat it straight back out.

Apple sauce is made by feeding apple slices to babies and then having them regurgitate it into little jars.
