I heard this very captivating advert on CNN back in 2013, I really liked the narrators accent as well as the music.
European Patent Office 2013I am going to London for a 1 month vacation next year and I wanted to put on an accent like this. Hopefully it doesn't come across as too snobbish

My deepest condolences. London is a ghastly place, and anyone with any sense tries to avoid it unless they have a death wish or are severely masochistic. It is overpopulated, overpriced and over indulged, although the criminal classes are trying heroically to reduce the population. and I wanted to put on an accent like this.
Dear oh. Word of advice: Don't try putting on an English accent of any description. You will be spotted as a fraud before you complete your first sentence. And for god sake don't speak to anyone on the Tube (underground/metro) in any language, and avoid eye contact at all costs, otherwise you may be considered somewhat weird and possibly dangerous, and events could move from passive-aggressive to the possibly violent. Hopefully it doesn't come across as too snobbish

No. You will just come across as a bit of a twat. This will not endear you to the locals, although it is important to remember that the majority of people in London aren't British. So, remember to keep a stiff upper chin at all times, and if someone bangs into you always check that your wallet, purse, bag, smart phone are still there, and then apologise.....sorry....sorry.....sorry.
There are two British accents on the CNN advert. The first is an attempt to speak RP (Received Pronunciation or BBC English) by someone who probably originates in East Anglia - possibly Norfolk - and failing miserably. The second is modern "ish" RP or Aspiring Oik RP which is not quite so up market as regular RP, which itself is not quite so strangulated as Country House RP - think Prince Charles and "the inner city raaats" (inner city riots) - yaah. Genau?!!!
Hope this helps. Casual, Whatever, Random and Various. Innit!
Sorry.

You are so funny MacBuddhaBurger

I have visited London a couple of times, almost all people are very polite and helpful there, I think.

Are you American? It's probably better to be pegged as a fraud than as an American.
