I just wanted to know what everyone's opinion was about memory improvement courses. I have read that memorization is a key part to learning. So if I could improve my memory I am guessing I would do better in school. I have been doing some research of some memory improvement courses like the School of Phenomenal memory and Dr. Bruno's Course. If any one has had any experiences dealing with these or any other memory improvement courses just give me a quick reply thanks.

hey vuman!
i'm not sure about such courses...i took one local course....to help you apparently improve your memeory and confidence and all.....it sucked....
but you're doing research is better...i mean you could get a decent place that will actually teach you something...and in the end it lies with you....how much you take from the courses....and yes they could definitely help you...not only in school but in ordinary life...you wont forget stuff.....
oh i sumtimes forget things...due to a lack of interest...so if you are forgetful that could be one of the reasons....it's not good ofcourse...so i have to write down reminders for myself on my hand

Thanks for the reply poisonedcribellum. Yea the research is going pretty well. I mean I did check out dr. bruno's website and man that website looked as if it hasn't been updated in forever. However, on the School of Phenomenal Memory they have this free manual about the classes they teach. I thought it was going to be some short introduction about the school but man was I wrong. This manual thing is freakin huge! It is going to take me forever to read this thing, but when I was browsing it it didn't just talk about the school but it also talked about how they teach you and different things about the brain and memory. But yea I will keep on doing some research and hopefully I choose a course that will fit my needs. But I will definitely read this manual cuz this thing looks pretty interesting. Thanks again poison.

well since memory is what you need to learn, surely learning is just remembering things you've been told, i would say yes, better memory, better school year academically.
