The future is so random.

Forget about mental illness for a while and just let loose in here.

Nope, sorry. I'm an athiest.
It's possible that we are controlled through a computer of some sort... but I just woke up, I'll post later.

Hi, I'm Daniel.
I am thirteen years old.
I have aspergers (possibly not whole), tics, tourettes, OCD, and maybe ADHD. Also, a tragic childhood that makes so-called tragic movies seem very happy.
I love affectionism.

Sorry, Dan(Edmond), you lost me with the digression about suicide. Since this stuff is supposed to be just for fun, let's think of a more fun way to apply the topic of randomness in the universe. Your choice...

I disagree with the big bang theory, but I can't think far enough as to say I believe a soul has any extra control over nature.

If you picture no universe ever having been created, it can get slightly confusing, since we don't know.
When I was in kindergarten, I asked some kids "who do you think created god?", and the kid replied, "nature", so then I said "who created nature". He said "god".
I said "but if god created nature, how can nature create god if it isn't in existance yet?
The kid walked away.

What are your theories on the creation of the universe?

Wow, Dan(Edmond), that's a big one :!: The creation of the cosmos is THE most investigated topic, isn't it? Do you think it began as a random process?

I believe the universe began as a small lump of green putty in the armpit of a vogon. :^)

Sorry.. no, I don't know. I don't think it is possible to learn about the creation of the universe you are in.

Well the butterfly effect is a good theory, but the main problem is that its like with the existence of God - it is impossible to prove.

Sure that for example on the 31st of may 2007 I can drink a glass of water before going to the university or I can go out without drinking the glass of water. The problem is that I can't do both these things. To prove the existence of the butterlfy effect I would have to drink the glass of water and see what happens and at the same time do not drink the glass of water and observe the differences between the effects of both of these actions.

Since I can do only one of these things, then there is no room for experiment and thus no evidence of its existance.
That doesn't mean that the butterfly effect doesn't exist, it merely means that its impossible to get any proof that it exists and thus the butterfly effect is a dead concept for science.
I'm self diagnosed with a very severe and incurable case of "being Sabratha".

That is true, it's not provable, but logic states that that's what happens.

WAIT! I've had this before...
Logic means "the correct answer"...basically.
search it on onelook, and you will have vaguely similar answers.
Yes, logic does matter.
