In 1762 there were no microcosms.

1764- a good year for things that are green, like Chartreuse.

There is a story that goes...
In 1766 an egg the size of a large dog was found in a field between Basingstoke and Bramley, England. The two men who discovered the egg decided to bring it back to their farm. When they came back with a cart the egg was gone.

I wonder if I can come up with 1767 reasons the egg might have been akin to odd looking plant pods. The villagers need to stay awake.

Meanwhile,
1777 went by without incident. Like life (for one or two people).

In
1778, Jean Meyon from Gerardmer celebrated his 1st year of being sober
according to the local legend.
But I also think we skipped 1768 to 1776. Otter put the sexy in dyslexia, I guess.

Ah yes, I just noted that. I read the link, a fine story (after I had my team translate the French).
So let’s pick it up from where I erred after Snaga’post. We dare not cheat the past.
In 1768 I was not yet born, and I’m too to tired make something up.
Zzzz
