The Case of Shanti Devi
by Dr. K.S. Rawat

Shanti Devi is one of the best cases of children's past life memories. It is remarkable becasue it was investigated by a committee of prominent men appointed by Mahatma Gandhi, who took Shanti Devi to the village of her past-life recollections.

I'd like to beleive I am energy. The same way electrons float around a nucleus is the same way I like to see life forms float around Earth. As Earthlings, we should go back into the Earth itself when our life is diminished. Earth being the core of all the energy, we should merge with the rest of the energy, eventually growing into another living thing. Be it grass, a new animal, water, fire, any sort of part of Earth, we will float around our home as energy forms until once more we a granted the gift of human or animal conciousness.

Call that reincarnation if you like, but thats my theory of the world.

I don't believe in it, but I find the idea extremely appealing and beautifull.

I don't have a birthmark. Am I brand new?

I don't know what I believe. I think that anything is possible. I can't really say that I have a strong belief of anything that cannot be proved. I have ideas based on physics and sprinkled with hopes and dreams.
I'd like to think that our thoughts and well, our whole persona or "soul" remains when we die no matter what form it takes. Though, that is very difficult for me to believe  .
Sounds kind of morbid but, our bodies decay and we get consumed by other organisms. So, technically our energy still remains. And as 07gas has stated, it is said by scientists that energy is constant (is it a law gas?:? maybe). So, the energy that makes us work, if you will, remains. Where does it go? Who knows. I think it may just be reused as energy for other beings. And who knows, maybe in a way, we become that bird who ate the worm who ate the microorganism who ate from our body.

Oh yes and I forgot to add.....
And I am dead serious. I have a birthmark on my right buttcheek . How could a wound there kill me? Maybe gangreen or something  . But I do have a birth mark between my breasts, pretty much over my heart. Maybe I was a warrior who had been speared through the heart. :)
Cool thread 07gas.

Oh, indeed I do.

Once you die, the coffin starts getting moldy, and your flesh rots in the soil, so then animals come and eat the remains, and we eat the animals.

Conscious reincarnation?
We will be reincarnated with the consciousness of before we were born. Do you remember that? Yeah, it was pretty fun.
NO IT WASN'T BLACK.

In a short form... NO.

Well actually, I will be defying my opinion here, but if reincarnation were to be something to happen, it would always be your first life. It wouldn't be more than enough, since you wouldn't have any memory of it.

07gas wrote:I Heard stories on how some people who died saw a afterlife or white light and being drawn to it. If there is a afterlife then I believe reincarnation would be possible. And the law of physic does state that energy can’t be destroyed or created. So something has to happen to our life source. The brain itself is a Hugh source of energy which we only use about 10%. What would happen if we could tap into our brain and utilizes maybe 11% or 12%. Impossible, don’t think so, it’s all about evolution and the many possible paths in which humanity may travel..

Now for my 3rd post in a row, It has not been proven that only 10 percent can be used. Maybe consciously used, but more usage may be how brighter people think, training different parts of their brain.
