^ airchecks? you mean showreels?

I had to listen to some of them in the past. Received one from a wannabe tennis commentator who recorded it in his bedroom. I counted him screaming "it's a back hand volley!" over 30 times in 3 games. It was a Federer match. That would be amazing, even for him.

The guy had no clue. Ended up on Radio 1.

Which reminds me. Bjorn Borg was great wasn't he. Got the job done and got out while the going was good.

I take it Borg is a tennis player, not something that's gonna assimilate my ass.

Um, airchecks..... Recordings of deejays doing their thing, taken off the radio. I take it they save recordings of themselves as a kind of resume, yes.

Only ones I cared bout was Agnetha & Anni-Frid. *sigh* They were fab...

Never got to see ABBA but a very passable cover band from Sweeden came thru a number of years ago & the Snagina surprised me with tix. It was wonderful. Very happy Snaga.

Yes I've seen Bjorn Again.

Also Mamma Mia in the West End. Took my daughter when she was a kid. She loved it. She was 7 and was dancing up and down in the aisles to Dancing Queen. Everyone was up dancing but she was literally up and down the aisles twirling. Was so cute.

Yes, I knew to late the Snagina might have been interested in Mamma Mia. Have not seen but the movie. Maybe it'll come around again.

It took some searching but the band I saw was the tribute band Waterloo.

Lol cute @ daughter. Dancing princess.

This was a good thread Snaga. Maybe itll get older people to join. Well, one can only hope.

I remember bell bottoms and afros everywhere. My dad would have us watching Barney Miller. I also remember watching Led Zeppelin concert on tv.

Highly controversial song back in the day and one of my all time favs. So brilliant here he becomes gorgeous. :D

Banned from radio play ..this is Billy Joel at his best, I think.

Seemingly innocent and kitschy, but a closer examination will reveal the sordid, lewd cesspool of 70's culture that made me the man I am today.
