What is your favourite flower and why?

I really like Osteospermum's

They are such beautiful and unique flowers. As you can see. :)

I am autistic, and I have a habit of lying/making up ridiculous stories when I am comfortable around people. So don't take me to seriously if we know each other well enough. Looking to make some friends on here.

I really like gardening, anime, games, movies and more (I wish I could do art but I can't).

Wild Garlic, when it carpets the woods, and its flowers are like millions of little stars.

A pomegranate blossom! Pomegranates are so tough, even my pathologically short attention span can't kill them. I think they prefer not to have my attention, which suits me, because I don't have a lot to give.

Second would be a peach blossom, because while peach trees may not be the biggest and strongest trees around, they're among the few bold enough to expose their flowers when frost and fungi abound. They remind me of that rhyme I read that time. Also, I like saying the word "momo," which means "peach" in Japanese. Try it. Momo!

I'm sticking with roses. You can say so much with roses (though you'd be hard pressed to find someone who really understands). In the language of flowers, the rose signifies love, but the color of the rose determines the feeling behind that love. To be able to say so much with such a simple gift is amazing.

I know that the yellow rose is a symbol of friendship or platonic love, and I keep reading that the orange rose symbolizes "fascination," but does it have romantic or erotic connotations, or doesn't it? :?: ProFlowers had this to say:
It was only around the turn of the 20th century that rose cultivators began experimenting with crossing the yellow rose with the red. Suddenly, there was a whole new rose meaning on the scene. Blending the friendly associations of the yellow rose with the true-love implications of the red enabled a much subtler, intriguing suggestion of love emerging from friendship. Dangerous stuff! Thankfully, the orange rose has picked up all kinds of other suggestions over time and it’s now appropriate for any enthusiastic message, whether of love, thanks, friendship or congratulations.

Now, there's an idea.

To be fair, orange is also a predatory warning color, as is yellow, but then, I suppose either would have to join black to convey that sort of meaning. An orange (or yellow) and black bouquet? What a challenge that would be to produce!

I love Wisteria. I love the colour, the smell, the look. And I like that it grows outside so you don't have to water it and keep it in a vase and throw it out when it dies.
