xX::Comin' Around Again - Carly Simon::Xx

You like that song? - I love Carly Simon (I'm attracted to her, I mean), and that's my favourite song of hers. I love the video of it too - Ever seen it? You're so vain is obviously a great song too.

I don't really feel like telling the full story of that girl I was talking about, but only because I'm pressed for time. It's not as if it 'triggers' me, as they say. regarding you, your friend might never come around to 'drag' you out of the house. I have a severe absence of friends (in fact, I've got zero), and so I have to drag myself out of my house/apartment. As much as smoking pot and being on psychforums.com all day sounds, I couldn't do it. I tell myself that I need to get out each day, and I feel more depressed if I don't.

Each to their own though...

Kevin

I love Carly Simon. She's one of my favorites from the 70s. I wish I'd been around to see her, though. SOOO before my time.
I grew up on old music... It's my way.

My friend might not come drag me from the house... you're right... I've considered this, but I'm trying to stay positive about it. She's hope, ya know? She gets here on the 8th. If she moves in with me at least I'll have a friend handy all the time.

In the meantime I've been scouring CraigsList for other girl friends in the area... I'm not great in person unless I know you're not going to run screaming into the night... Lol. So I'm trying... I'm just really not great with people right now... I've cycled into reclusive depression and... as much as I hate it... that effects how social I can be.

My biggest thing, right now, is taking care of the bf... when that settles down I'll be able to maybe go out more... I used to go to the bar with some guys from high school, but I can't come home trashed on tequila sunrises every Monday... so I stopped doing that.

I wish I could smoke pot and sit on psychforums all day...
I only smoke at night... and even then it's very little... enough that I don't cry ridiculously (stupid depression).
I dunno. My life is wasted between school and work... everything else is just filling in the time until I have to go back to one of those...
I'm hoping I can see it differently when I'm out of college and just working...
Or will I just see life as what happens between work days?

Tequila sunrise - Is that a drink? I think it was The Doors who had a song called that too. I'm guessing that you're a fan of The Doors. They have mellow music, which seems to fit your personality. Sorry if that came across as offensive, but overall I see you as a very mellow person.

Anyway, it's late here (23:50), and I'm logging out for the night shortly.

Catch you later,
Kevin

Edit: Bugger! It's The Eagles, not The Doors!

Yeah, a tequila sunrise is tequile, orange juice and grenadine.
I'm a tequila fan.

I like the Eagles and the Doors... and a lot of other random music. Lol.
My CD collection goes from Megadeath to Carly Simon to Bob Marley to Reel Big Fish to Sade to the Vincent Black Shadow. Lol
I love me and music collection.

Your music collection sounds a lot like mine, Smile. Tequila Sunrise...heh...used to be my favorite song (and drink) for several years. I've grown apart from bars, too. I'm working on getting interested (or at least getting peripherally informed) in a bunch of areas that I wouldn't normally explore. Fashion and indie flicks were two of those. So I kinda took those from their respective forums to attempts at real-life interaction involving those.

Oh indie films... I love indie films.
They're interesting.
We have a theater dedicated to them here.
I only know this because they do Midnight Madness, though.
They show cult flicks there on the weekends at midnight.
Rocky Horror, the original Clash of the Titans...
Old, weird or just plain bad...
They show it, and freaks like me just eat it up, man.

Once a season they do 3D porn too.
Apparently in the 70's the porn industry made a number of 3D pornography films.
Most are starring John Holmes, as can be expected.
I make a point to go to that showing... because it's one of the more entertaining.

That is WIN.

Think you'll be able to drag your friend along--the one that's gonna be moving in?

Oh hell yes.
Her and her ex used to come to midnight madnees with me every weekend.
We bonded over bad horror flicks and 3D 70's porn.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO weird.

...about as weird as I am for liking mayo on my fries instead of ketchup, IMO. ;)
