Hi,
There is a Reddit forum called nosurf that maintains a list of software programs that you can use to set limits on your software use. Are you allowed to use either Chrome or Firefox? If you can install browser plugins such as Chrome's StayFocusd or Block Site those can help. I'm a new user, and I looked at the forum posting guide, and it looks like I'm not allowed to post links, or I'd link to the nosurf reddit.
Another alternative you can use is to install a router on your home internet service, between your desktop computer and the internet. You can install software on the router in between the computer and the internet as a whole. There's all sorts of filters you can use to do that.
What I would recommend doing is to buy the router and then configure it, then get someone else to change the password on the router so you can't alter the filters.
If you need more help with internet addiction issues, there is also a support group called Internet and Technology Addicts Anonymous that has meetings by telephone daily. I don't think I can post a link (again I'm new and that looks to be against the rules), but they are listed as a link on the wikipedia page for Internet Addiction Disorder. If you just google for "Internet and Technology Addicts Anonymous" the link to the website comes up pretty low, on the second or third page of results. The top results for "Internet and Technology Addiction Anonymous" is actually a fake listing that an expensive tech rehab center put up but that doesn't have any actual meetings.
