Addicted to online forums

I am Addicted to one football forum. Everytime I try to leave and I always end up going back. Sadly I think of the posters when I leave and even when I am not posting. It is like I am on autopilot as I always end up on there without realising. It does not help that I exchange emails with 2 people who I met off the forum and they ask why I have not posted and also what goes on the forum when there is a dispute between posters etc. I have been on there for 8 years daily and it has severely had effected my social life. I seriously need help getting off and I hope there are some who have experienced the same by giving advice.
