I think my boyfriend has IED

Postby alo66 » Thu Jul 21, 2005 11:04 pm

I think my boyfriend has IED and I would like to know 'how' to deal with it, or approach him following an incident. At first I just thought he was verbally abusive and then wacko after he viciously destroyed some of my personal property following an argument/break up.

I believe he has it. I wanted to call this to his attention after doing some research, but I've found it's only further agitated him. He is not remorseful for what he says ever, and I've never seen anyone in such a malicious rage before.

How do I help him get help?

intermittent Explosive disorder and boyfriend

Advice to girlfriend whose boyfriend she thinks is IED. I am married with six children and my advice is no matter how much you love him now, walk away, or run. The destructive ness does not stop and gets worse. Children should not suffer this. This is a very real threat to your happiness and even safety. There are many more men out there.
