My adult son had a motor vehicle accident 10 years ago. He as a result has frontal and temporal lobe damage. For the past 10 years he has threatened to kill each and everyone of us. He has impulse control issues and has aggressive and violent outbursts. He has seen several psyciatrists and still 10 years later we are having these issues of safety in our home. He is unable to live independently. We see the signs when they start not sleeping, then the wild eyes, then the contorted face and it is going to happen. He is never happy. Always angry and wanting to hurt someone. No one seems to tkae us seriously that live with him.
If we as a family mention anything when going to the psyciatrist we have to deal with the aftwermath when we get home. He is much larger than me and he wants someone to go to jail. I have contacted the for crisis management and they send the local PD and they go off and leave him for me to deal with don't take him to be evaluated. I cannot get him in the car if he refuses. He is going to hurt someone and he even has stalking issues with females that have given him no intrest but in his mind there is. He lies all the time, has dilusions of life and fantasy world of his own.
HOW do you get the medical community to help. As a family we have offered to go in and get assistance for us on how to best handle situations and they will not help us. Any suggestions????
I have gone all the avenues I know of for the past 10 years with no support.
