I have recently been prescribed a brand of sleeping sedatives called Zolpidem. As they are extremely addictive i was giving only 7 and told to take when required. Tonight is my second time taking them. The first time although i was worried about the side effects i had no problems with them. I just felt completely chilled out. However after taking one tonight i feel a little funny...
I am experiencing a sharp pain the bottom of my throat, my head is in excruciating pain and i feel like I’m not taking in enough oxygen (although my breathing is fine) i also am suffering from dry mouth. These symptoms may have nothing to do with the tablets, but i am unsure as o wheather or not i should get seen by a doctor...

Are you going to bed immediately after taking them? You're not supposed to stay up after taking Ambien, weird side effects can occur.

Be very careful not to take more than prescribed. I made this mistake and was left feeling like all the happiness was sucked from my mind. It seemed to mess with my serotonin levels during the day, and then I was left feeling so anxious I would take them again the next night..a sad cycle. I would also wake up, do strange things like talk to my roommates about digging tunnels in the basement and have no memory of it the next day. A doctor once told me that there has been an increase in the number of suicides in patients on ambien. Personally I think the stuff should not be on the market.

you can also try all-natural sleeping pills too... if you don't like the effects of your prescription ones....they work for me and my husband, but not my sister. they're a lot cheaper too. check out biodream.. i think they are still giving way free samples on their site.
