why will I feel drained all day, then energized all night?

This isn't something that happens all the time, but everynow and then it gets me and pisses me off! Can anyone relate??

I relate completely. I can't help it either - and no one understands. I can fall asleep at night, but unless it was a hard day, I'm not tired and I feel awake. I usually end up going to bed at 2 am (And this happened randomly after being on a good schedule for MONTHS! 2 months of a good schedule and this happened). I don't understand it either, and I blame my insomnia and fear of sleeping.

Hope things get better,
Mike
I can carry the whole weight of the world on myself and not have a problem, but as soon as I add my own, it's impossible.

Never know what you'll learn today - maybe something new. Did you know [insert traumatic experience] happened? Well today you had that flashback! Gee whiz, isn't life just WONDERFUL? :D

Yes, I can relate, this is my experience most days and nights. I think it is the nature of insomnia?

just general boredom

Postby kevilars » Sun Jul 06, 2008 11:55 am

I found when I had a boring job with little mental activity I'd feel groggy all day just because the job sucked and when it was over I would start gradually feel more awake and at night i would be energized and unable to fall asleep. What do you do for a living?

This sounds like me.

I work a boring job, nightshift.

The sun mocks me when It rises before I'm awake.

old job

Postby kevilars » Mon Jul 07, 2008 6:45 am

yeah I used to work a night shift in security but it wasn't all watching monitors, it was a lot of patrolling and keeping watch, it was still boring as hell because nothing ever happened. One of my friends who was working did shoot a cat once though thinking it was someone breaking in.
