Hi Iron Angel,

Well I am not going into details about how and where to get weed just have few question.

1) First of all I'm not even legal drinking age??? How old you are???

2)I don't do it myself, it is unwise because if a cop sees you they will bust you, but it is no huge deal. So you don't smoke weed in public but with friends or privately?

Why you smoke weed? Is that for to get good sleep?

Well don't feel like I am point at you...just curious to know that’s it...if you feel like its question you can just ignore my post..Thank you..

Marvin.

Tip 103: Try not to become dependant on anything illegal/harmful for your body to help you sleep.

More Insomnia-Related Symptoms Reported By ‘Night Owls’

Postby Marvin » Wed Aug 22, 2007 10:12 am

Those persons who are labeled “night owls” report more pathological symptoms related to insomnia, despite many having the opportunity to compensate for their nocturnal sleeplessness by extending their time in bed and being able to gain more total sleep time, according to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine (JCSM).

The study, authored by Jason C. Ong, PhD, and colleagues at Stanford University, consisted of 312 patients, who were categorized as morning, intermediate and evening chronotypes based upon scores on the Morningness-Eveningness Composite Scale. Group comparisons were made on self-report measures of nocturnal sleep, sleep period variability and waking correlates and consequences of insomnia.

A new research...reveals that...

People suffer from sleep problems frequently, especially in people who have experienced traumatic events, natural disasters or violence.

People exposed to physical or psychological traumatic events develop a condition known as post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Sleep is one of the many problems of PTSD. Sleep problems, such as frequent waking, difficulty in falling asleep, distressing dreams and nightmares are common in people with PTSD.

I did use the "green wonder" to get over insomnia, it did kinda help, euhm.. kinda. Well I was able to sleep, but for me this was not the solution in longterm. As it had massive side effects, as I had headaches, and my sex drive totally decreased, no way, this was not the solution for me.

Well also one thing for sure helped me, sometimes I took 1 or 2 beers before my sleep, as you know then beer makes you kinda lazy and tired, and I was always airing the room, it made me to sleep better when I felt that there is a cold breeze coming in my room. Also I did sleep better after I took a sauna before I was going to bed.

And I don't know why, but a cold pillow did help me to sleep. I have no explanation why, but it did. So I was like turning my pillow from side to side like 10 times a night, so I could just sleep on this "cold" side of the pillow. And before bed, I put the pillow next to an opened window, so it was little bit "cold", and I was trying to get in sleep just before the pillow is again warm. I don't why it helped me, but it did. I always was able to sleep better if the room was cold, or If I was able to feel the cold breeze which came in trough my window.

Me too! I *have* to have a cold pillow, else I'm especially uncomfortable. Having several pillows in reach to replace the current is my tip. You *can* even put pillows in the fridge if you must, or a piece of fabric to lay over your pillows in the freezer. Put any fabrics in a plastic bag first though - if they stick whilst freezing, you'll tear them to shreds when you attempt to recover the fabric from the ice.

I prefer having multiple pillows - I need a constant supply of fairly coll pieces, rather than one exceptionally cold piece of fabric.

user/abuser

Postby kevilars » Sun Jul 06, 2008 11:04 am

for any kind of drug there's always a difference between a user and an abuser. As far as marijuana is concerned, here in california, you can get a prescription for it, and there are cannabis clubs that will only sell to you if you have a prescription. of course some people abuse it and buy/smoke copious amounts.
Same thing can be done with any drug. Back in college I smoked pot, but it didn't interfere with my studies. Now, I use ambien to help my insomnia, but it doesn't always work, but if I take 1 pill and it doesn't work, I'm not going to be an idiot and take more till it does.

An hour before you want to go to bed, turn off your TV and computer. Sit down with a notebook and write down all of the thoughts going through your head. Close your notebook and close out your thoughts. This may alleviate the effects of insomnia.
