Hi I am a 26 year old man and I have had terrible insomnia for a long time. It got to the point where it was affecting other areas of my life years ago. I've had this problem since I was about 4 when I would lay in my bed for hours before I fell asleep. It has gotten a little worse lately but I'm not sure why. I don't think it's any of the medications I take I'm currently on Baclofen and Flexarill.

Would it be worth talking to your doctor about all of this. They can then look into whether there is any sort of physical cause or if the meds are affecting your sleep. They might also be able to give you some sleep meds, even on a temporary basis, to try and get your sleep patterns back onto an even keel again.
Having suffered insomnia for about 10 years now I now take sleep meds. Wasn't something I particularly wanted to do, and still flairs up from time to time, but I do now sleep much better.
