Now, I could be totally wrong, but I think you might be confused about the difference between psychosis and psychopathy. Psychosis is more about seeing or hearing things that aren't there (I think!) And psychopathy, which sounds much more relevant to your problem, is a person who dorsn't feel much remorse or empathy. Psychopaths and Sociopaths both have those two traits, usually along with the ability to con or trick people into thinking they're something they're not. Ted Bundy is a lovely example of a sociopath in my opinion- had a wife, good job, was attractive and worked well with people. No one would suspect that he'd kill over 35 girls. He was good at fooling people like that. Socios can hold jobs and relationships for long amounts of time. Their murders are more planned and thought out, whereas a Psycho is usually a more disorganized killer and has trouble keeping jobs or girl/boyfriends. There are a lot of other aspects to both sides, if you're interested, I think wikipedia has a nice description of both. I'm not at all saying that I think you are a socio or psychpath, I just thougjt maybe you had the termonology mixed up? Again, I'm probably wrong, and I'm not trying to compair you with Ted Bundy or anything either!

- Okay, so, I'm rambling, sorry. I have had thoughts similar to yours, so I know the confusion and weirdness that comes with them. Maybe try a therapist who you can really talk to, deeply and for long periods of time, about your problems. They'll have better advice than me, and can recommend medication that will better suit you. Good luck, and you're definately not alone in having those intrusive thoughts. =)

@OP

Yes, what you are experiencing are called, "Intrusive thoughts". The good thing is that you know in your mind that these thoughts are bad and are immoral. If you didn't think that these thoughts were immoral, then really be a nutjob, lol. However, the fact that you do view them as immoral is a good sign. I also have intrusive thoughts but my thoughts are on doing things that could get me a felony. Apparently all of these thoughts are related to anxiety. I've found that if I find a way to reduce my anxiety levels that the thoughts and impulses begin to diminish. It's all tied in with anxiety.
