Hi,
For over-eating, you should go to the Binge-eating forum. This area here is generally inactive and you will not get many replies here. If you have a few different problems, then you should make a post in the Living With Mental Illness Forum. Anyway, is your impulsive spending tied-into your over-eating by any chance?

M y therapist and I dont discuss my money much because to me its touchy subject.(I have BPD traits not diag) A few of my monthly expenses are to high for me that they sap out my fun money that I want every monthif I were to budget. With my BPd Id rather have fun money rather than eat healthy all the time or buy nice clothes for myselfWith my illness I do ton of online book club shopping and Walmart. Walmart also is a self soother for me it helps me with feelings of abandonment and neglect.Im around people there. But I do spend my money to fast.
My impulsive eating is around excessive worry or loneliness or stress. I do have cravings for bread for some reason .I make alot of sandwhiches between meals.Hope this helps someone help me.

Hi,
Would discarding your credit card help the situation? It can be very easy to spend money when the notes/coins aren't actually in your hand - Know what I mean? In my opinion, credit cards aren't a necessity at all, and I don't intend to get one. People spend more money when they own a credit card and the bank account would have no problem with the person going into debt.
Be careful with your money, my friend, because for people like you and I, 'economising' is important.

Oh, okay. Why did you even have 3 ATM cards in the first place? Don't feel too bad though, because you're own government is billions of dollars in dept. So, it appears that everyone is in debt right now. Be sensible though, and 'shop around'. Certain products can be more than twice as cheap in one store over another.
