Need 10-12 hours

Postby SpeckledUnicorn » Tue May 10, 2011 3:09 pm

I swear I do. I also have trouble sleeping at night...It's just easier to sleep during the day. i think I'm just all rearranged..and that is all..

i went ot my friends where they have to wake up early..like at 8 am..and we'd go to sleep at 1. I would always end up taking a 2-3 hour nap. It makes me feel awful. I get tired easily too :C.

I oversleep whether I'm depressed or not too. More so when I'm depressed, but not by much.

This is probably going to cause a problem when I start school :C.

Hi Joan,

I go through phases where I need more sleep or just get tired easily. (Haha I'm yawning now! :P ) I try to let myself sleep whenever I feel tired, but sometimes it's not that easy if you have things to do or places to be.

If you don't already, you could try taking multivitamins. I think iron and B vitamins are meant to be particularly helpful.

And they say that trying to stick to a routine is helpful. Maybe that's something that will help you when school starts?

Why do you think you have trouble sleeping at night? Do you do anything exciting or energetic before you go to bed? You could drink some herbal tea and listen to quiet music or read before trying to sleep. Anything that is calming might help.

Sometimes I find it hard to sleep because my mind is too awake and my thoughts are racing, even though my body is tired.
No diagnosis, lots of opinions, and a bunch of issues that I haven't quite figured out.

I should try vitamins anyway. I do think my sleep varies sometimes. I can go to bed at 10 and wake up at 8 am. or like today I went to bed at 6 and woke up at 3.

I think it's because I've gotten into the rut of being a night owl. I like being one too. I do tend to think more at night. I feel like I'm more fully awake than during the day.

Yeah I should try calming my thoughts out. I often day dream until I fall asleep. Which could take an hour.

I think I know what it is......
